What Forms and Information Do I Need ?
Applying for a loan with Alpha Lend is fast and convenient with our online-based application process. In all cases, we require a completed Needs Analysis Questionnaire (with signed Privacy Consent) to help understand what your unique needs and circumstances are and to determine the best possible step forward for a finance approval.
In addition, we will require some supporting information. This will differs slightly depending on the type of finance you need.

It is common for lenders to ask for other documents from time to time. For example:

Due to our responsible lending obligations, throughout this process we may from time-to-time require additional clarification, lender-specific or supporting documents before we are able to finalise your application, we will ensure we keep you updated throughout the process.

Checklist of Loan Documents
Personal identification
- A copy of your current Driver’s Licence and Medicare Card (front and back).
Income details
- PAYG Employed
- 2 x most recent payslips from your employer (ideally these will show the company name, date and year-to-date income figure).
- The most recent PAYG Summary from your employer or Income Statement (from MyGov).
- Self-employed
- The last two year’s personal and business tax returns and ATO assessments.
- Alt-doc self-employed:
- Will depend on the type of finance, but we may require 12 months Business Account Statements; or Bank Statements; or signed Accountant’s verification to support your self-declared income (you will be instructed depending on lender requirements).
- Proof of other income received. For example, rental income statements for any investment properties, statements of share dividends or interest earned, Centrelink statement confirming family tax benefits or permanent government pensions or any other regular, ongoing income.
- Evidence of conduct on existing debts (especially if refinancing) - usually three (3) to six (6) months statements for each loan faciality.
- Bank Statements for salary, savings or transactions accounts and any liabilities (credit cards/personal loans).
Property/asset information
- Copy of the Contract of Sale for any property being purchased.
- Tax invoices/buyer’s orders for vehicles or other assets being purchased.
- Six month statement for any existing home loans and personal loans.
- Rates notices for existing properties owned.
Additional documents
It is common for lenders to ask for other documents from time to time. For example:
- If utilising government grants for the purchase of your property, we may require additional information and forms to be completed.
- If other funds are being given to you, which are not already in your bank account, you will need a Statutory Declaration from the person giving you the money stating it is a gift.
- If you are seeking a construction loan, we will require a copy of a valid builder’s fixed price tender, including all specifications.
